The 2027 Toyota Crown Signia is entering a new model year with the same recognizable shape and a more significant change beneath the sheetmetal. Its two prices have risen, while a driver-technology package that was previously optional now comes standard.
Pricing and Standard Equipment
Toyota Motor North America has released 2027 Crown Signia pricing and specifications. Without the destination and delivery fee, the XLE moves from $44,690 for 2026 to $44,890. The Limited increases from $49,090 to $51,155. That difference is more noticeable on the upper trim, although the core hybrid powertrain and all-wheel-drive system remain standard.
The most consequential update is the Advanced Technology Package, previously optional on Limited, now standard equipment. It shifts driver-assistance hardware and convenience features that were once tied to the upper trim into the standard specification. The package includes a Panoramic View Monitor, Lane Change Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking. Puddle lights and reverse tilt-down mirrors are also included.
Exterior and Interior
For 2027, Inked replaces black in the exterior color lineup offered across the range. The rest of the Crown Signia keeps its sweeping roofline, monochromatic grille, wide fenders, and color-matched details. Alloy wheels come in 19- or 21-inch sizes, with 21-inch wheels optional. Two-tone combinations pair Storm Cloud, Oxygen White, Finish Line Red, or Bronze Age with a black roof.
Inside, leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats, soft-touch surfaces, and bronze-metallic accents continue. The Limited adds a fixed panoramic moonroof. Its 60/40 split-fold second row can create a 6.5-foot-long cargo area, with maximum storage of 68 cubic feet.
Hybrid Powertrain and Efficiency
The standard Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicle system uses a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder, a hybrid transaxle, and a bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery. Toyota estimates 238 combined horsepower and 38 combined MPG. Electronic on-demand all-wheel drive sends power according to conditions, distributing force from a 100:0 front-to-rear split to 20:80.
Technology and Availability
The cabin technology list includes LED projector low- and high-beam headlights, a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, and Qi-compatible vertical wireless charging. The XLE provides five USB-C ports, and Digital Key capability is also available. A premium JBL system includes 11 speakers, a subwoofer, and an amplifier.
Toyota plans to have the 2027 Crown Signia at dealerships before the end of the year. Connected features deserve attention, too: Traffic Jam Assist requires an Active Drive Connect trial or subscription and a 4G network. Buyers should weigh possible subscription costs against the updated prices, while real-world fuel economy and early availability will help determine the crossover’s overall value.
