Zuckerberg’s Choice: A Manual Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
Self-made billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg, eschews chauffeured rides, preferring the thrill of driving himself. His love for manual transmissions led him to purchase a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. “I really like driving manual transmission cars,” Zuckerberg shared, expressing his passion for stick shifts.
The CT5-V Blackwing boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, delivering 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. This powerhouse propels the sedan from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 200 mph.

“You want your car to have almost as much horsepower as your helicopter!” Zuckerberg quipped on Theo Von’s podcast, a sentiment many can relate to. The need for speedy ground transportation when helicopter travel isn’t feasible is a common experience!
A Porsche Minivan?
For family outings when the helicopter remains grounded, the Zuckerbergs utilize a custom Porsche minivan. This unique vehicle was designed by Zuckerberg himself and built by West Coast Customs. “I designed her this Porsche minivan. I like cars, but I am not going to design a supercar for myself; I am going to design a minivan for my wife,” he explained, highlighting his thoughtful gift for his wife, Priscilla.
More Than Just Cars: Zuckerberg’s Lifestyle
Beyond his impressive car collection, Zuckerberg’s transportation options also include a personal helicopter, though he always has a professional pilot onboard. This aligns with his ongoing public relations efforts to present a more relatable image.
Adding to this image, Zuckerberg has also mentioned an underground tunnel connecting buildings on his Hawaiian ranch – a detail that adds to his unique lifestyle. His Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing was first publicly mentioned last fall, when he was searching for it in a parking lot, showcasing his down-to-earth side (relatively speaking!).
