Plug-in Hybrid Lamborghini Urus on the Horizon
Lamborghini plans to phase out non-electrified versions of its popular Urus model, with the plug-in hybrid variant poised to take center stage. Before this transition, however, the Urus is set for some exciting updates.
A Tuned Lamborghini Urus Seeks New Owner
This article isn’t about the Lamborghini Urus SE or its non-hybrid siblings, the Urus S and Urus Performante. Instead, we focus on a pre-facelift Urus that’s received a stunning aftermarket makeover and is now searching for a new owner.
Recently featured on @limitedspec, this exotic SUV showcases the work of 1016Industries. The tuner has dramatically enhanced the vehicle’s appearance with a widebody kit, including prominent fender flares and eye-catching side skirts. Other modifications include a more aggressive front splitter with side blades, a redesigned hood, and a substantial four-fin rear diffuser.

The vehicle boasts a sleek black exterior contrasted by bright lime green brake calipers peeking from behind its large, silver Y-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the black theme continues, complemented by lime green accents and double stitching. Further luxury touches include forged carbon fiber on the steering wheel (with red stitching) and the Lamborghini logo embroidered into the headrests.
Performance and Price
The tuning extends to both the exterior and interior; however, the extent of any powertrain modifications remains undisclosed. Even without upgrades, the Lamborghini Urus is already incredibly powerful.
It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 mph (305 kph). Power comes from a potent twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine, paired with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, generating 641 bhp (650 ps/478 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque between 2,250 and 4,500 rpm. The engine can rev up to 6,800 rpm.
This 2019 Lamborghini Urus is currently for sale, though pricing details require contacting the seller directly. Given the current market value of over $200,000, a higher asking price is anticipated.
