Cadillac has introduced the 2026 Escalade IQL, a larger variant of the electric Escalade IQ, offering increased storage and legroom while maintaining its striking exterior and advanced interior.
The IQL distinguishes itself with a unique C-pillar that includes a triangular design and a full window, unlike the IQ’s view-obstructing panel.
The IQL is 4.2 inches longer overall, yet it shares the same wheelbase as the IQ.
The IQL provides an additional 4.4 inches of legroom, one inch more headroom, and nearly a full inch of extra shoulder room in the third row.
With the third row down, the cargo space is significantly larger, offering approximately six more cubic feet, totaling 75 cubic feet.
The interior is consistent with the standard Escalade IQ, featuring a 55-inch display and premium materials.
The powertrain remains the same, with electric motors producing 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque.
It shares the same 205.0-kWh battery as the IQ, with Cadillac estimating a range of 460 miles, despite the extended body.
The Escalade IQL has a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds, which is 500 pounds less than the standard Escalade IQ.
The 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL includes Super Cruise, GM’s hands-free driver-assist system, as a standard feature.
The Escalade IQL will be priced starting at $132,695, with production scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
