BFGoodrich, renowned for its off-road tires like the K02 and K03, is expanding its focus into the high-performance summer tire market with the g-Force Phenom T/A tire. This new offering aims to provide excellent performance for both street and track use.

Positioning within the Ultra High-Performance Tire Segment

The g-Force Phenom T/A is classified as an “ultra high-performance summer tire,” positioning it as a versatile option for enthusiasts. It stands alongside competitors such as the Hankook Ventus V12 EV02, Yokohama Advan Apex V601, and Falken Azenis FK 510, offering a balance of performance and everyday usability.

Key Features of the Phenom T/A

The Phenom T/A incorporates key features of a high-performance summer tire, including stiff sidewalls for enhanced cornering stability, shallow shoulder blocks for increased dry grip, and a dual-zone tread pattern for effective water dispersion. The tire’s highlight is its new silica-infused compound, engineered to improve wet braking performance.

The g-Force Phenom T/A has been launched in North America after initial releases in Australia and Asia. It is currently available in 20 sizes, ranging from 16- to 20-inch wheels, with plans to introduce 30 additional sizes soon.
